The book details 5 walking tours around Liverpool City Centre, plus the Dingle, Woolton and 3 around the Penny Lane area.


Liverpool City Centrefive tours with their starting points:

Tour 1 – The Cavern Quarter, including Mathew Street, NEMS, Hessy’s and many more famous sites.


Tour 2 – The Town Hall, plus the Iron Door and other venues.


Tour 3 – The Empire Theatre, including Mount Pleasant Registry Office and Brian’s birthplace at 4 Rodney Street.


Tour 4 – Metropolitan Cathedral, including John’s birthplace at Oxford Street Maternity Hospital, Liverpool Institute and the Art College.


Tour 5 – Liverpool Anglican Cathedral, including LIPA, Gambier Terrace and the Jacaranda.

Tour 1 – A walking tour along Penny Lane, plus an explanation of the song.


Tour 2 – A walk starting from the Penny Lane roundabout, up to George Harrison’s house and also sees Brian Epstein’s home.

The Woolton Walk
